4 days/ 3 nights, Santa Cruz Island
Cruise Extension
The tourism regulations of the Galapagos Islands do not allow mixed cruises of shore excursions and scuba diving.
The ideal solution for guests who would like to do both, explore the most remote corners of the archipelago and also scuba dive, is a combination of a naturalist cruise and a stay on an island from which diving day trips can be made.
Before or after the cruise, on Santa Cruz or San Cristobal, we will be happy to organize for you the perfect complement with a few days of diving.
Or maybe you have booked a diving cruise and you need some warm-up before heading to the sites with the most challenging conditions? We can help with that too with a tailor made offer. Diving Gordon Rocks and Kicker Rock – spectacular sites for scuba divers - are reserved for day tours. Make your Galapagos diving trip complete!
We maintain good relations with all cruise ships and are happy to take care of the exact coordination and logistics, for a seamless transition and a stress-free trip.
Even though your final itinerary depends very much on the particular cruise and the exact circumstances (dates, pre- or post cruise program...), here is a sample itinerary:
Day 1
ARRIVAL AT BALTRA AIRPORT
Most cruises start and end in the morning at Baltra Airport (GPS). Your driver will be waiting for you upon arrival and will take you to your hotel in Puerto Ayora.
Between 03:00 - 06:00 p.m. please come to our dive center for the gear fitting and briefing.
Depending on the arrival time and place, there is also the possibility to dive on the arrival day itself. We will check this option and inform you.

Day 2+3
SANTA CRUZ DIVING TOURS
Hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, Manta rays, Eagle rays, Golden rays, sea turtles and sea lions - float between these and many other majestic creatures on 2 dives per day. Our professional crew will guide you through the day with information and best service above and under water.
Around 8:00 AM you will be picked up for the diving tour. The exact dive sites and corresponding logistics depend on your travel dates, each operator in the archipelago has an itinerary and schedule set by the Galapagos National Park. Depending on the dive site, you will be back at the hotel around 3 - 4 o'clock.
PADI recommends 18 hours between scuba diving and flying. Our last dive always ends at about 1 p.m. Usually it is no problem to dive with us the day before the flight, because the first flights start quite late in the morning.

Day 4
DEPARTURE
It is time to say goodbye. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel 3 ½ hours before departure and accompany you to Baltra Airport (GPS).
